Our family-run clinic is growing, so our team needs to too!
Who we are?
- We are a young, very small clinic of 5 years, who started with a team of two vet owners and 1 nurse
- We are planning to move into a clinic (3 times our current size!) by the end of the year, and our current team is two vet owners, 1 FT recent grad vet and 9 nurses!
- We love our team and place a lot of value on our staff – we provide regular training on what THEY want to learn about, we are providing personal growth and leadership training for ALL team members, we use a Mental Health board daily to check in on each other and embrace neurodiversity.
- We like to have fun! Music choices get shared around, jokes are readily welcomed (we have a blackboard for jokes for the public as well), we do social functions every 3 months (kids and partners welcome…sometimes!)
- Our clients value our smiles, our friendliness, our education and our calculated approach to their pets (we will speak in high excited voices for the crazy excited ones; we will use pheromones and slow, calm approaches for the nervous ones, we use Thundershirts and treat therapy for the fractious ones).
